THERMOFROST EPS Sheets

EPS Sheets

BEARDSELL LIMITED, established in 1936, has steered itself successfully in the EPS industry.

BEARDSELL has come up with their famous brand name “THERMOFROST” in the EPS products range

Thermo frost is a light weight, rigid, expanded polystyrene containing 98% by volume still air entrapped in its millions of minute closed cells. this explains its outstanding insulation properties and remarkable resistance to moisture vapour penetration, making it the ideal low temperature insulation material with the best combination of desirable properties.

Insulation material slabs, pipe section generally used in Thermal insulation, covers atomic power projects, oil and Petro Chemical industries, Dairy development, Pharmaceuticals, Multiplex mall, and Central air conditioning and are also used in construction of bridge and building etc. Cost saving and energy saving advantageous to green building projects.

PREMIUM INSULATION PRODUCTS

The perfect insulation material for industrial low -temperature applications, structural Frost insulation and cold stores of types.

• EASY TO RECYCLE

EPS Sheets

EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) sheets are commonly used in construction, packaging, and insulation. They're lightweight, durable, and have excellent insulating properties. EPS sheets are made from expanded polystyrene beads that are molded into large blocks or sheets. These sheets can be easily cut to size for various applications and are often used in building insulation, as well as for packaging fragile items like electronics or appliances.

EPS sheets are also used in wide applications.
  • Insulation: EPS sheets are widely used as insulation material in construction for walls, roofs, floors, and foundations. Their low thermal conductivity helps in maintaining desired temperatures inside buildings, reducing energy consumption for heating or cooling.
  • Packaging: EPS sheets are extensively used in packaging applications due to their cushioning properties. They are used to protect fragile items during transportation, such as electronics, glassware, and medical supplies. EPS packaging is lightweight, cost-effective, and provides excellent shock absorption.
  • Craft and Hobby Projects: EPS sheets are popular among hobbyists and craft enthusiasts for various projects. They can be easily cut, shaped, and painted, making them suitable for creating prototypes, architectural models, signage, and decorations.
  • Horticulture: EPS sheets are used in gardening and horticulture for insulation and as a protective barrier against extreme temperatures. They are also used as lightweight fillers in planters and containers to improve drainage and aeration of soil.
  • Art and Sculpture: EPS sheets are used by artists and sculptors as a medium for creating large-scale sculptures and installations. Their lightweight nature allows for easier handling and shaping, while their smooth surface provides an ideal canvas for painting and finishing.
  • Soundproofing: EPS sheets are utilized in soundproofing applications to reduce noise transmission between rooms or buildings. They can be installed within walls, floors, or ceilings to absorb sound vibrations and improve acoustics.
  • Void Fill: In construction and civil engineering projects, EPS sheets are used as void fillers to reduce the weight of structures and provide stability. They are often placed between soil and concrete slabs to prevent settling and structural damage.
  • Greenhouse Construction: EPS sheets are used in greenhouse construction to provide insulation and regulate temperatures, creating an optimal environment for plant growth. They help in reducing heat loss during cold weather and minimizing heat gain in hot climates.
  • Stage and Set Design: EPS sheets are commonly used in the entertainment industry for stage and set design. They can be carved or sculpted into various shapes and sizes to create props, backdrops, and scenery for theatrical productions, concerts, and events.
